Q:     Are you sure you feel like coming back to work so soon?
A1:   Yes! I've completed all (or most) of my treatment and I know I'm ready.
A2:   Thanks for your concern. I'm ready to go.
A3:   Actually, if I didn't come back to work, we'd be on the street so here I am.
 
Q:     What can I do to help you now that you're back?
A1:   Thanks! If I need anything, I won't hesitate to ask. I'm fine.
A2:   Thanks for your concern. I ready to be back.
A3:   If your work is the same as before I was out, it's you who needs my help!

Q:     Your hair looks great. Is that a wig?
A1:   Your hair looks great, too!
A2:   Thanks, I'm glad you like the style.
A3:   Yes, it's a wig, I'm bald under here and I've lost hair in other places, too!

Q:      You must be so tired, right?
A1:    I'm feeling really strong.
A2:    Thanks for your concern. I'm ready to be back.
A3:    I'm sorry - I'm so tired I just slept through what you said.

Q:      What should I say to people when they ask about you?
A1:    Please don't worry about that.
A2:    Thanks for your concern. I'm sure that won't be a problem.
A3:    Tell them breast cancer is hell, but I'm fine now!

Q:       I can't believe you're back. You were pretty sick there for a while, right?
A1:     I'm feeling really strong, healthy and I'm glad to be back.
A2:     Thanks for your concern. I'm ready to be back.
A3:     Sick? At times, it felt like death would be easier.

Q:       You're back! Where have you been?
A1:     I have been out a while and I'm really glad to be back.
A2:     Thanks for your concern. I've been dealing with cancer treatment and I'm ready to be back. A3:     Away.
